Beach Community Church was founded in 1999 by a small group of ex-pats who had a desire to see a local English speaking church that was Biblically based, Spirit-filled, and thriving.  After meeting for several years in members homes, they started meeting at the Flamingo Beach Hotel.  It was in 2002 that Dr. Mark Warrington, an assistant Pastor from Bellingham, WA., was called to serve as our first full-time pastor.  He and his wife, Sally, have remained dear friends to this congregation.  Currently our congregation is led by Pastor Brett Clifford from San Juan Capistrano, CA.  He comes to us with 22 years of youth and family ministry experience under his belt having served with the Calvary Chapel denomination.  As our church continues to grow, and as ministry opportunities expand, Pastor Brett’s desire is for us to be the voice, hands, and feet of Jesus in our community.
