The New Year
Dear Church Family of Beach Community. Here
is a quick update of just a few of the things we have going on at B.C.C. We invite
each one of you to get
involved!
Through The Bible Reading Challenge begins tomorrow, February 1st. This is for everybody in the church. Just go to our website homepage, www.costaricachurch.com and click on the appropriate date for the daily reading. Each reading has a
passage in the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs and takes about 15-20 minutes a day to read through the entire Bible in a year. Remember to begin on February 1, 2008.
I am excited
to announce that this Sunday we begin a new sermon series through the Gospel of
Mark, entitled “Jesus-The Servant King”. Come and learn how God himself
came down as a man and showed us how to love and live with each other!
Super
Bowl Sunday! This Sunday, 5:00 p.m. at the Hopkins. Come and enjoy great fellowship
and food. Chili will be served-please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Our
Building Project has begun! If you haven’t done so already, go check it out.
The Children’s Church Palapa has already been built and it’s incredible!
